Fixtures announced

Eyemouth United visit Recreation Park in season opener.

The East of Scotland League has unveiled the fixture list for the season up until Saturday 19th March 2016. As with previous seasons, the campaign kicks off with the East of Scotland Qualifying League that sees the Shipyard hosting Eyemouth United on Saturday 1st August, kick off 2.30pm. This is followed by a short trip across the forth to face Civil Service Strollers on Wednesday 5th August, kick off 7.15pm. The final match of the section is another home fixture on Saturday 8th August with Tynecastle being the visitors. kick off for this match is also 2.30pm.

The William Hill Scottish Cup gets under way on Saturday 15th August with the Shipyard potentially facing a preliminary round match that day with 14 other teams in the hat including Fife club Kelty Hearts JFC. Other possible opponents could be Cove Rangers from the Highland League, Junior giants Auchinleck Talbot and Scottish Amateur Cup winners Harestanes amongst others. If the Club receives a bye in the Scottish then there is the small matter of a trip to Ainslie Park to face Spartans in the East of Scotland Cup. The second preliminary round of the William Hill Scottish Cup takes place on Saturday 5th September when hopefully we will be involved. Meanwhile the League campaign gets underway on Saturday 22nd August, with first up a trip to East Lothian to face Ormiston, kick off 2.30pm.
