Shippy stalwart Kevin Masson has decided to leave the club due to family and personal reasons as he looks to wind down his career. Kev is now looking to play more locally and has opted to step down to amateur level and play in the Kingdom League.
The club would like to put on record it’s thanks to Kev over his three spells at the club and in particular last season’s achievement of scoring 21 goals in the campaign despite only playing around 17 matches. A great feat and had Kev played more matches he might have been close to being the league’s leading goal scorer.
We would like to wish Kev all the best for next season and whatever the future holds for him.
