East of Scotland Qualifying League: Group H

The Shipyard will kick off their season with a trip to face newcomers Dunipace on Saturday 28^th July 2018 in a League Cup group H match. This will be a huge match for the hosts as they make their senior debut in East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) competition at Westfield Park. The Denny based team arrive in the EoSFL having left the Central District Second Division in the juniors where they finished 11^th.

The first match at Recreation Park will see another newcomer providing the opposition with Musselburgh Athletic facing the Shippy on Wednesday 1^st August 2018. The visitors arrive in the EoSFL on the back of a title winning campaign, having won the East Region Premier Division and with promotion to the Super League beckoning, before deciding to up sticks and join the senior ranks.

Due to the nature of the draw the Shipyard have a second home match in the group with Preston Athletic making the trip across the Forth on Saturday 4^th August 2018. Athletic finished a very creditable 3^rd in the EoSFL having been relegated from the Lowland League the previous season and if it had not been for the outstanding consistency show by both Kelty Hearts and Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale, then the Prestonpans outfit might have made an immediate return to tier five.
