After the disappointment of our first match of the season being postponed due to the heavy rain, conditions look a lot more promising for the match on Tuesday night. Recreation Park is playable at the moment and if there is no more heavy rain there should be no problem with the fixture going ahead.

The Shipyard gained their first pre-season win against Hearts of Beath at North End Park, running out comfortable 5 – 1 winners.
