The Club continues to adhere to the instructions given by the UK Government, the Scottish Government and the Scottish Football Association regarding Coronavirus (Covid 19) as the country battles to overcome this pandemic. All football is suspended until at least 30/04/2020 and everyone will have to wait for further announcements from the above-mentioned authorities. Social gathering restrictions also means that group training sessions have been cancelled with the Club more or less locked down.
The Board of the East of Scotland Football League (EoSFL) have agreed to cancel the continuation of The League Cup meaning our 2nd round tie against Stirling University has been shelved. No decision has yet been made on the completion or otherwise of the league programme as the Board discuss the situation with other leagues and awaits further instruction from the relevant authorities. Another EoSFL Board meeting is scheduled for 02/04/2020 where more information will hopefully be forthcoming.
The Fife FA have made the decision to abandon this season’s Fife Cup with the Annual General Meeting and dinner for this year also cancelled.
The Club’s Casino Night scheduled for Saturday 21st March unfortunately fell victim to the social gathering restrictions, however, we hope to rearrange the event for later in the year.
