Kev, Pete and Todd win Club awards.
The Club presented the annual Player of the Year awards at the Crown Tavern on Saturday evening with the winners being:
Young Player of the Year – Todd Arthur. Todd has just completed his first season at the Club and can be proud of his performances over the season. Central defender or right back, seventeen year old Todd is also captain of Fife Schools who he led to the Scottish Cup final.
Players Player of the Year – Kevin Masson. Kev’s season has ended prematurely after fracturing a bone in his ankle down at Eyemouth the other week. However, his goalscoring bursts over the season prompted his team mates to give him the nod. Four goals in one match and a hat-trick in another proved the veteran striker still has what it takes when it comes to taking chances.
Committee Player of the Year – Peter Bell. Another in the veteran category who has come out on top. Pete has been a model of consistency all season, playing in different positions, getting stuck in and even chipping in with three goals this season.
