New faces, departures and pre season fixtures

All change at the Shippy.

There has been quite a bit of comings and goings at the Shippy this summer, with the main news being that Lee Richardson has taken over from Dave Costello as team manager, though Costy is remaining at the Club in a coaching role. Lee will be assisted by Fergus Lockhart who has replaced Dean Ewing, with Deano leaving the Club. Welcome Lee and Fergus. The Club would like to thank Costy for all his time and hard work in the role as manager. We would also like to wish Deano all the best too as he moves on from the Club.

On the playing front we are delighted so far, to welcome Harris Kay and Ryan Watt to the Club with the manager confirming others are certain to follow. Harris is joining us from Kennoway Star Hearts when his contract with them expires and Ryan joins his brother Craig at the Club with “Rooney” recently signing a contract extension. Jordan Galloway, Scott Orrock and Jack Wilson have left the Club and again we wish those boys all the best in their future endeavours.

Our pre season fixtures have been confirmed.

Our final warm up match will see us face local rivals Burntisland United. Our neighbours are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and all proceeds from the gate will be donated to United in these very difficult times. Hopefully we can get a good crowd in and give United a much welcome boost.
