Once again the Shipyard are at the forefront of youth development as the statement below indicates. It is a great credit to all the coaches and volunteers at the Club that youth development goes from strength to strength.
The Scottish FA have entered into a new 4 year programme with McDonalds which aims to support clubs, create a school to club link, recruit new footballers and volunteers and help develop the club structure. Richard Gibb and Alistair McLeod in conjunction with Burntisland Shipyard AFC were one of the first clubs in Fife to go through the process, creating the new 2005/06’s youth side. More clubs in Fife will follow the same process in the coming years!
