Congratulations to Burntisland United won the Stenton Shield for the very first time after they defeated the Shipyard 5-3 on penalties after the match finished three all during the ninety minutes. Reece Brown scored twice for the Shippy, one being a penalty with Andy Watt also netting from the spot. A double from Jamie McKay and a last gasp equaliser from Craig Farley took the match to penalties with the Shippy’s Benn Hutchison the only one failing to convert when Ryan Couser saved his strike.

The Clubs are delighted to announce that £376 was raised on the night to go towards Dillon McLaren’s wheelchair fund. So a big thank you to everyone who turned out on a wet night to support such a worthy cause.
